At Remedy, we take great pride in our work.
Our mission is to entertain millions of people with the best possible games. With over seven million copies sold worldwide, the Remedy brand on a package remains a seal of quality – a promise from us to gamers everywhere.
Yet the bar keeps rising year after year, and we are constantly on the lookout for talented, passionate people to create the hit games of the future.
Remedy is not a game factory.
We are lean and focused on our goal: delivering best-in-class story-driven cinematic action to our fans. We believe that in order to create something truly great and unique, it is best to keep the core team’s size in check and outsource much of the final mass production to the best vendors around the world. In this way our team can maintain a strong focus and spend enough time working on what matters most – the core experience of the game.
People are our most important resources – quality of life matters to us. We offer four to five weeks of paid vacation every year as well as health care, sports, and lunch benefits. We also provide opportunities to further develop your professional skills.
We have a seasoned team of veterans.
We are constantly improving the way we work. Remedy is an expert organization that provides a professional, fun and creative environment for making games with passionate and dedicated colleagues.
The work language at Remedy has been English from the start, and our team consists of passionate game developers from all over the world.
Remedy is located in Espoo, Finland – 15 minutes from the capital, Helsinki.
Finland is widely known as a safe, highly developed EU country with a high standard of living and a great educational system. It's a great place to settle and live in.
Helsinki nightlife is famous among foreigners, and if you need a change once in a while, we are only a few hours’ flight away from other major European cities – you could easily spend your weekend in London or Berlin!
Helsinki also hosts one of the world’s most active game developer communities. Everyone is welcome to the IGDA Finland monthly get-together that is held in a cozy bar right in the center of Helsinki. This event is very informal and relaxed, frequently attracting 100+ local developers to talk about games and exchange ideas, or simply to kick back and relax over a beer. The fact that pretty much everyone in Finland speaks fluent English makes it easy for foreigners to settle in.
