Our user research team is looking for players of all tastes and skill levels to give us honest feedback about the games we have in development at Remedy. Tell us what you liked (or didn't) and why. Help us make great games!
You can read the Playtest Privacy Policy here.
You can contact us at user.research@remedygames.com
You can email us directly to opt out: user.research@remedygames.com
It’s not a job! You are volunteering to join a playtest that might take an hour to an afternoon. If you are interested in working at Remedy, please check our careers page.
Currently the tests are conducted either in person at the Remedy Entertainment Espoo office or remotely.
It depends on the test! Some playtests can take up to a few hours, and others can take a whole day.
When there is a playtest planned that fits your profile we will contact you via email or phone call.
Click on “Become a playtester” at the top of this page and fill in the registration questionnaire.
Yes! We are looking for all kinds of players, hardcore and casual alike!
Anyone from selected European countries and is at least 18 years old can sign up to our playtests.
You are agreeing to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), which makes sure that confidential and proprietary information about our work doesn’t reach the public. An NDA means that you will not be allowed to share anything about the playtest or about what you played. The sessions will be recorded (both video and audio of the game and the player). The recordings will only be used for research purpose to help us improve the game and will not be shared outside of Remedy. We may also use eye tracking and/or measure your heart rate as a part of our test(s).
You get to play Remedy’s games before they’re released, and let us know what you like or don’t like about them. It’s important to us to see how players interact with our games, and to hear honest opinions and feedback from players of all skill levels, so that we can keep creating games of the best quality. To thank you for participating, you will also be compensated with a gift card and a Remedy swag bag. If you want to learn more about playtesting at Remedy, read this blog post from our User Research Manager, Elise Torfs.
